Why "WHERE TIME BLENDS"?

Well, the project was born from a simple idea: that a single photograph can hold many moments at once.

Fueled by a lifelong passion for travel and discovery, I capture the essence of places both iconic and hidden — from breathtaking landscapes to timeless historic cities and charming villages.

Using a technique called time blending, I manually combine together different moments — evolving lights, changing colors, and flowing emotions — to create a single, seamless image. This approach lets me capture the best elements from a scene as it transforms, merging them into one cohesive frame. It also allows me to bring out vibrant, exceptional colors and stunning textures, adding depth and life to each photo.

Every piece is an invitation to see the world not just as it is, but as it feels. My goal is to inspire you to visit these places yourself, to step into the stories and experience the magic firsthand.

I'm Luigi Sonnifero, born in Sanremo and raised along the charming Italian Riviera. But pretty soon, I realized the world had too many incredible stories to stay in one place for too long. So I grabbed my camera and let curiosity lead the way.

Travel Photography became my thing the moment I found myself crazy enough to wake up at 4:00 AM to catch a sunrise. It's not just about freezing a scene — it's about capturing the feeling of discovery, of wonder, of “wow, I can't believe I'm really here.” Even when I'm soaked in rain.

I often revisit the places that have captured my heart, with each return deepening the bond I share with them. The more I return, the stronger my connection grows, and the more these places reveal their soul to me.

When I'm not chasing sunsets or wandering ancient streets, I'm probably planning my next trip... or trying to figure out how to pack lighter (still working on that one).
